Yoseph is a fourth year from Springfield, Virginia double majoring in Commerce and Economics. He has been a member of GMG since the spring of his first year. Beyond GMG, Yoseph is the philanthropic treasurer of the Ethiopian Eritrean Student Association and a member of the Alternative Investment Fund. Yoseph enjoys fitness, R&B music, and podcasts pertaining to social issues and the economy. Next year, Yoseph will be joining Silver Lake as a full-time private equity analyst.

Julia is a fourth year from Randolph, New Jersey majoring in Economics and Psychology with a minor in Data Analytics. She has been a member of GMG since Spring 2020 and is also involved in VCG, Rise Together, and her sorority. Julia has interned in wealth management and investment banking, and will join Credit Suisse as a full-time investment banking analyst next year. In her free time, she loves traveling, taking photos, hanging with her dog, and skiing.

Justin is a fourth year from Cleveland, Ohio studying Finance and Economics with a minor in Math. He has been a part of GMG since his first semester at UVA. Next year, he will return to Evercore as an Investment Banking Analyst. Justin is also involved in the Solar Car Team and MII. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, chess, and reading.

Kayla is a master’s student from Chantilly, Virginia pursuing an M.S. in Commerce at McIntire this year after graduating with a Computer Science degree last year. She joined GMG in Spring 2020. She is also involved in AKPsi, VFI, MII and Outdoors Club. She has previously interned in wealth management, private equity, and investment banking. Next year, she will join Guggenheim as a full-time analyst. In her free time, she loves to play soccer, hang out on the lawn with friends, and explore conspiracy theories (birds aren’t real!).

Alex is a fourth-year CS and Commerce major from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He has been a member of GMG since his first semester, and he is also involved with the Virginia Entrepreneurial Society, Chess Club, and Virginia Men's Rowing. Next year he'll return to Microsoft as a Product Manager. In his free time, Alex enjoys long walks on the beach.

Lisa is a fourth year from Richmond, Virginia. She joined GMG during her first year at UVA. She has interned in investment research and investment banking, and will join Evercore as a full-time analyst next year. In her free time, Lisa enjoys camping and horseback riding.

Isabella is a Third-Year from Paradise Valley, Arizona majoring in Commerce and Global/Transnational history. She joined GMG during the fall of her first year. In addition to GMG, she has earned a certificate of Culinary Arts from Arizona Culinary Institute, has led the UVA Model United Nations Team for the past two years, and is an active member of her sorority. Outside of school, Isabella loves hiking with her dogs and creating new recipes to share with friends. In the Summer of 2022, she interned in consulting and is excited to work in investment banking next summer.

Erik is a third year from McLean, Virginia studying Finance at McIntire. He joined GMG during his first year at UVA, and has been an active member of the EMEA fund, with a particular interest in the growing investment landscape of the Baltics. Erik is also involved in the Virginia Venture Fund, Hoothon@UVA, and an avid member of Greek life. He also enjoys fly fishing, golfing, and skiing. Erik has previously worked at Broad Street Realty as an asset management intern, and will join Blackstone next summer as a Real Estate summer analyst.

Esther is a third year from Haymarket, Virginia studying Finance and Accounting at McIntire. She joined GMG during her second year and is also involved with AKPsi, student council, and her sorority. In her free time, she enjoys making music and doing anything involving nature. Esther has previously interned at a startup and in product management.

Abhinav is a third year from Richmond, Virginia studying Commerce and Computer Science. He joined GMG during his first year. Outside of GMG, he is actively involved in AIF and AKPsi. In his free time, Abhinav enjoys playing poker and scocer. He has previously interned as a business analyst and in venture capital, and will join Citadel as a summer analyst next year.
